My story of becoming a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (NTP) began after a decade plus of health struggles in my family. Having walked through these challenging health crises, it has become my life’s mission to help others suffering from similar chronic illnesses and/or neurodevelopmental challenges.

As an NTP, my goal in working with you and/or your family is to optimize your health through eating a nutrient dense, whole foods diet, tailored to your specific health needs. We will begin working together by using an in-depth interview process that consists of getting to know your health history with a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, using food journaling, and setting goals to achieve bio-individual nutrition goals.

Together, we will practice the necessary foundations of health to meet your bio-individual needs using the basic NTP building blocks of health: A whole foods diet, digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids, mineral balance and hydration.

If this intimidates you, fear not. As a practitioner and mom, I have found over many years that it is easier than you think to make small, but powerful nutrition changes.

Before my son turned three, he was met with several diagnosis, including Lyme Disease, and very little advice on how to optimize his health to live his fullest life. It wasn’t until finding a functional medicine doctor and nutritionist that we felt hope.

One of the first steps we were urged to take was optimizing his nutritional intake due to his intense vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and to address his food sensitivities. Two weeks after we implemented his diet, the benefits were nothing short of a miracle. It was like the cloud lifted from him. His eyes were clear, his body calmer, his ability to communicate turned a sharp corner. It was enough for me to start diving deeper into nutritional bio-individuality and the rest is history.

According to the Center for Disease Control, 1 in 44 8 year-old children have Autism (CDC, 2022), 1 in 5 have been diagnosed with ADHD before 5th grade (Rowland et al. 2015) and at least 40% of children in the U.S. have a chronic health condition (CDC, 2021). In ADHD alone, increasing micronutrient intake through food and supplementation improved mood, cognition and behavior (Greenblatt, Delane 2023). That is encouraging!

You may likely be visiting my website because you are living one of these statistics. In my own experience, and seeing others in this community implement diets for their unique health situations, improving nutrition has proven undoubtedly to be a positive contributing factor.

There is hope to live a more healthy, nourished life ahead of you. I look forward to working with you. Please get on my calendar for a no-obligation 15-minute introduction call. I would love to meet you and learn more.
